That was my boat for the last 10 years and 70-72 was the top speed. It is still in great condition,never kept in the water and always run easy...still the same engines and drives.

tachometer goes crazy after 4000 rpms

My port tach is ok to 4000 rpms but over that the tach goes nuts like it has a short in it. I changed tachs and still has the same problem. The engines are 454 425 HPs with factory ignitions, any...
