scarab hull numbers

Looking at a good deal on another panther, except vents were cut in the transom were the hull number should be, is this normal? are there any other numbers on these boats? it's an 87 wellcraft scarab...

1987 scarab panther info

I have a 1987 scarab panther thats been sitting for almost three years, it seems to be all original, it has 330hp 454's with alpha one drives, don't know why it would of came with alpha drives?? One...

Does anyone know which hull is better for bigger seas? Also, in the same situation here , except between a 79 and 87 30' scarab, they look similar but I've heard the older hulls are better to start...
