Thanks very much - there are 2 large on/off knobs...

Thanks very much - there are 2 large on/off knobs for the batteries outside the compartment - do you just pull them off??

I have a 1988 Pachanga 32. Went to take the batteries out of her yesterday and the starboard side batteries appear to be dead - can't open the hatch to get to the engine compartment - UGH! Can't...
