Just following up. Turns out the issue was in the drive and not in the motor at all. Upper drive gears were completely bound up keeping motor from turning. Getting upper of drive rebuilt now. ...

I will update once I try some things this weekend so that maybe someone else can learn from this. I would think that if it was a drive lube reservoir though that the motors would not start at all...

I have a 500EFI that just stops running randomly at between 30 seconds and 3 minutes from the time that i start it. When i put it into gear regardless of how long it has been running it dies...
