The gen5 and gen6 I'm pretty sure use different heads.
Mount a card so it's sitting vertically would very likely be a bad idea...and/or a fire hazard :s

A blower will bolt on and Dryer's Blowers has a custom double serpentine crank pulley for the Gen6 boat applications so I don't see why it wouldn't...
