Unfortunately it broke about 1/4" down in the bore. I probably should have taken my heat gun to it to expand the aluminum before I tried to loosen it, but didn't want to burn the paint off.

As usual, everyone I called either doesn't do mobile service, wasn't in, or had a 2-4 wk backlog (guess Yamaha shops aren't like the Maytag repair man).

God I hate Yamaha's

I tried to check the thermostats on the Yamaha's. One motor the bolts came out fine, the second motor one came out and one snapped I was only using a 3 inch long wrench so I wouldn't put on enough...
