They actually make a tool that sets those rear axle seals in perfectly; better than the 4x4 and a 2# sledge method. I bought mine used, so not sure who makes it. "Dock Holiday" can probably get one...

Yep, I was confused by it at first as well. It's actually a two-piece hub seal that is used for oil bath hubs. Get them from Myco.
