Bobby IMO it is the Zenith and Sony units. They are both the same.

As far as getting free DSS it is legal to grab it if you are in Canada but obviously not if you are in the US.

depends on what unit you have but most do not have variable outputs. You will just have to deal with it, or try another sat box that may have a hotter output.
