I found a good deal on a slightly used labed 30" bravo, just got here. Unfortunately i leave in 2 hrs for a three day Jeep comp so I won't be testing til early next week- will advise.

1/2" spacer is a keeper

Just wanted to let everyone know I was sticking with the .5" spacer for a net 1.5" shorty. Boat planed fine full of people and 1/2 tank- still hit 90 too. This is on a twin step hull.

Update- I installed the 1/2" spacer yielding a 1.5" shorty, lost my 230 lb passenger and the extra battery, running about 80 gallons vs 100 about 10 days ago. Similar air water and wind.

I'm running the 1.36 ratio with a whippled 454mag. I also considered the extension box- it will change your CG which could also hurt you, I'll use spacers if the 2" proves to be too much.
