The IMCO uses a extra long drive shaft, so you just can't swap drives. You also need an extra long drive alignment tool. The IMCO box also doesn't allow the drive to be adjusted for the x-dim. ...

You need hydraulic steering. If you already have hydraulic steering, you'll need to adapt the system to the boxes. Hopefully you won't have to fill any transom holes.

Mn-from what I've seen of your boat, it is "ass heavy". I'm thinking you'd be a good boat to try boxes on. It would be an expensive project though.

I used a Stellings box on my 26' cat. I can't answer the before and after question as I rigged the boat with the box originally. I do know that I was able to plane the boat with the prop actually...
