I have a 2005 k1500 with the 4.8 I get around 17...

I have a 2005 k1500 with the 4.8 I get around 17 mpg. but I live in the country. Its great without a load and not bad with say 1500.lbs. in the bed.

I would'nt use it to tow a boat that size...
