Should only have to document once as long as you own it. They'll send a form asking if you still own it, but only need to notify them once you sell it.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but by Documenting it treats the loan similar a Mortgage and prevents the owner of the vessel from making substandard modifications. There are other obvious reasons for...

It was Lake Michigan in the New Buffalo area. No numbers on the side so they looked hard for the registration sticker. No sticker so they pulled me over.

I've used SeaCoast Financial out of California...

I've used SeaCoast Financial out of California twice. Last one in 2005 cost me $495.00. Probably can get it done for less but I liked working with them the first time.
