If you can afford to pay of 35k in a couple...

If you can afford to pay of 35k in a couple years, you shoulda bought more boat to start with that you wouldn't have to spend more on later. IMO.

You will be luck to get back 20% of the money you invest on resale. What you will have is a very nice boat that is worth way more to you than anyone else.

Its like owning a 500k house in a 250k...
