Sold the Duramax, got almost 80% of what I paid...

Sold the Duramax, got almost 80% of what I paid for it 5 years and 30k miles ago. Just got tired of the stiff ride.

Bought a 12' Yukon XL Denali with 134k miles- very clean- What a LUXO ride........

Update- truck sat for 3 weeks at the Qwik Park Detroit Metro airport. over christmas new-years. Started right up and drove home.

Even on the icey roads it did great.

Thats because there is no "offical" version. There are lots of people who made their trucks a stormtrooper but I cannot find where Chevy made it official.

I figure about 3000-3500 miles per tanks of DEF. Maybe more but we'll see. I buy Blue Peak about 11$ per 2.5 gal cube.

16 overall. In the winter with warm ups (remote) and 4wd dropped to 12. Not suprised as mostly city driving in heavy snow and a regen.

On the highway at 65 mph it gets 21....

Yes, the Chevy is quieter. I am not a big fan of the Ford 6.7. They had issues with droppoing valves and I really like the Duramax. The interior on the new 15' Chevy and GM is better in my opinion...
