It is about 175 miles from LOTO. Almost to Arkansas. If you are in KC it is about a 4 hour drive S. on hwy 71 to I-44 then 40 miles S on crooked assed narrow 39 hwy.

There are tons of places to stay. It really depends where you want to stay. The area around Kimberling City and east to the dam will be the most modern, on the water type places. The Shell Knob area...

Being as I am a part time resident on the Rock I wil tell you there are ZERO ways to compare LOTO to the Rock. There is more traffic on LOTO at the Grand Glaze bridge at 2:00 am than any holiday...
