Broadcast HDTV

Most of the "Over the Air" Broadcast Stations (http://www.hdpictures.com/sched.htm) have their "prime time" programming available in HDTV. CBS and NBC use 1080i, and ABC uses 720p.

Here is a quick tutorial on HDTV.

Current non-HDTV Television sets have a 3x4 picture format and a resolution of 480i. HDTV Television sets have a 9x16 picture format and a resolution of 1080i.
