I agree with 1000 rpm too high. around 5K to 5.5K...

I agree with 1000 rpm too high. around 5K to 5.5K tops should get you better performance.

Assuming it's a late model and 2 stroke, 6000...

Assuming it's a late model and 2 stroke, 6000 sounds a little fast. Most top out at 5200 to 5800. I can find out if you can tell me year of engine.
