Not the case.... there are plenty of Heats up here and I've heard of insurance ranging from the $550 to $1800 with a 525 in an 07 boat. Just depends on who you go with I guess.

Try and run it through your home owners.

It's always seemed to work better for me that way.

The 08's are lighter but the merc motor package is heavier.
Now an 08 with an ILMOR package, your looking at a weight savings of roughly 700 pounds...

If you can afford it, buy it.
