No warning ever came up . Prodigy is a plug & play unplug from the box and plug the new controller into the harness done .

Integrated controller,s on newer truck,s are wacky I could not get the factory one to work comfortably on my 15 ram 2500 I went for a prodigy 3 and now we got some action .
