It is normal layup from BT. It is a lot power, but it accelerates really fast and has more to go. Just haven't run it out yet.

We have the ability to turn them past 1,300hp but haven't. I'm not totally sure what the weight is, but BT's site lists the same boat with twin 525's at 11,500. So, we have the big blower motors...

The boat is setup for acceleration and not top speed. We saw 0-60mph in 9.8secs and 60-100 in 10.6 secs and the stop watch was on the slow side if...

The boat is a 2000' Black Thunder GT. Weighs in at 11,500lbs and has 1225hp motors going out of 6's.
