In the end I came to the same conclusion you did.
We need to go with FG as you suggest.

The main reason is to keep the curve & curl coming around...

Full length down the side looks ok now.
The two slopes almost match.

That's just not in the budget.
Hence the plan "B"s.

Personally I like the FG deflector...

Well to be honest, I used a wind deflector off a Kenworth Truck as a base and just cut it down.
Hows that for lateral thinking. :silenced:

I guess another option would be to leave like it is, maybe slightly lower - and just paint it black, like a windscreen and leave it as is. No sides?
