Thank's for the replies, not sure if I want to do some kind of overlay on what I have or just do all new panels on my 336.

Formula has aluminum, not sure if fabricating all the panels is worth...

On boats with carbon fiber dashes, are they actually carbon fiber or are they aluminum with some type of overlay?

Look in the yellow pages in your area for a supplier of carpet cleaning proucts . They will give you the best advice.

The other route is to have a reputable carpet cleaning co. come out and do...

Actually they are nothing like the shot guns, they do a much better job, should bring you down to about 86db with 500 hp's.

10X I think I'm going to try the Livorsi E series or CMI, I guess they are pretty much the same thing. They're closed at idle, once you the rpm's go up they open up and it is pretty much open...

Look at your timing covers, if it's Gen VI it will have a pointer with the numbers on the balancer.

Gen V will have the timing numbers on the timing cover.

If it's fuel economy your going for Mark I have a suggestion.

Go as big as you can under the hatch, that way you will get to your destination faster and consequently shut the motors off sooner...

bravo's were night and day over the 3 blade mirages. I ran 25 mirage pluses at 4800 to 4900 and had a top speed of 74.7. on GPS

I'm turning the 24 bravo's at 5000.

Also tested a set of 24...

That is the same thing that the drive shower from innovative marine does and has been doing for years.

The cover takes the water, sprays it on the cap and then causes a sheeting action all the way...

I've got 94 336 with 500 bulldogs in it, 1.36 gears and 24 bravo ones I run 75.1 gps. If I lab them I should get 76-77.
To get 85 you would have to push 600 hp a side.

140 deg thermostat/ why

Why does merc use a 140 deg thermostat on carb motors and 160 on efi motors.

Is there some reason a 140 thermostat is better with the carb motors?
