There was a flame for sale over winter with pro charged 500s - I know the guy who built the boat and it ran 105-110,,,I don't see 700s doing 130,...

So when comparing the older 800 to the new 570 there is roughly a 5-10hp advantage for the 800. 50hp vs 44hp

When comparing new 850 to the new 570 there is a much bigger difference ..I believe...

I've downgraded to a 1/2 ton tow rig and have no problem towing my 28 with tin big blocks - I do miss...

A 270 with 496 will run 65-68mph, tow it with a 1/2 ton, decent size cabin if you choose to over night, big enough to handle some rough water. I would say it's a great starter boat! I haven't heard...

after that I would consider the Nordic Heat 28ft or Sunsation 288 - both Mid cabin open bow options.
