Looks like I can just bolt my 781 and 049 heads on then. All the ports cc out at 118 to 120. I was thinking about useing a steel gasket to get the quench down and increase compression ratio a bit. ...

I don't have the casting number's, I did at one time and had the heads off. They looked like open chamber heads. the year of the engine is 1987.

That chould be why you have the 190 psi in one cylinder. I'd pull the lower end apart too.

Is it worth spending the money? Right now the engine has alsome power to 3500 rpms and 45 mph. gets out of the hole really nice with any load. But once it hit 45 mphs it take a long time to hit...

You would want to filter the oil before it goes into the engine block. So plumb in before the filter.

I'm looking at H693CP with .210 dome. It says 9.3 to 1

I cc the heads last night. I use a veterinary syringe and a 1/4 piece of Lexan. I was getting 118 to 120cc. The 120 cc wasn’t necessary the 049 head. Looks like they would be close enough to...

What Compression ratio should I go with? I plane on using large Oval port heads and a 218 224 @ .50 comp cam. The rest of the motor will be stock. Looks like some of my pistion choices...

I have two different casting number heads. 336781 and 353049. If it's worth putting the on, I will have to find a pair. These heads supposly come off a Mairne engine.

I cut out my exhaust mufflers in my tips. Not a fun job and hated to cut a good set of tips up, but it was worth it. I got a good 50 mph out of it and it would rev up to 4500 rpms with trimd up...
