I personally use Synergen in my race engines and motorcycles.

It's very hard to argue with Rotella T though. It's economical and easy to find, as well as an excellent oil.

I've had great results with 3M super duty rubbing compound followed up with a finer finishing compound and then a glaze. I use a orbital polisher.

Be careful or you'll end up getting sucked into...

With a 454, you can still go to the 4.25"...
