To my knowledge, there are no other races scheduled that weekend. Generally, the shootout boats don't run the race circuit. Very few people from this area are going to Missouri to see the shootout.

The new roads and exits are pretty much completed now, so access to Borden Light Marina is very easy. We are looking forward to seeing as many racers as possible and make the event more successful...

I just have a problem with people calling a spade a spade. I have seen Fountains fall apart at races. Unless the boats were built initially as race boats, Fountains had problems in the rough stuff....

Richie Sutphen has a 309 new design hull at the shop. That hull with 2 LS 600 hp small blocks would run at least 90 MPH. I have the same hull with a 900 blower motor that runs in the 90 MPH range....
