Re: Gasoline resistant sealer

Or aircraft sulfide cured compounds. Two part sealer sold underthe name PRC Proseal. This is the stuff used on wet wings and is Jet fuel and 100LL resistant. I can't comment about how it would hold...

Dart pro 1 on HP500EFI, 310cc or 325cc

Any one with first hand experience. I am leaning toward 310cc runner for staying within the range of the limits of an ecu remap and my rpm limits. Also, any comments on valve sizes. My idea is a...

Re: Cabin Door

Join the club Scott, I have the same problem and it requires helm disasembly to get to the poblem. I almost think it is a structural problem. I am going to attack it over the winter and fix...

Re: PQ Owners Check-in

The install was easy. I had to remove the capnuts and studs and from the gerotor (which were loctited in) to facilitate bolting on the billet bezel(this holds the gerotor to the helm and is much...

Re: PQ Owners Check-in

Also note the Steering wheel extension on the helm. A bit of a tight sqeeze to get between the wheel and seat, but the payoff is the wheel is in your hand while underway w/o leaning forward an it...

Re: DC power supplies for Stereos

Deboatman,

Everything you said is terribly accurate. I guess I was not very clear in my first post. I meant as reasonably clean (noise free as well) DC as one could derive from an AC source such...

Re: Gasket cement

I disagree that you dont get comebacks with aviation engines. In the 20+ years I have been in that business I have seen work on piston engines that could be deemed unconsiounable given the risks...

Re: Powerquest Stickers

There is a graphics shop just down the street from the PQ factory that can make anything you want. They have done work for PQ in the past. The name is Graphix in Holland, MI 616-396-0009.

Re: Anyone know a trick on how to put an XR back on??

Carefully examine the input shaft at the point just prior to the bearing seat. If there is an indication of the gimbal bearing jamming at that point you probably have an alignment problem. Some input...

Re: PQ Exhaust Tips?

I thought the corsa mufflers sounded OK with 500's and legally speaking powerquest has to deliver a boat that conforms. However, with silent choice it makes sense to have two extremes available so I...

Re: It's time to see your PowerQuest

The P-5's were an improvement in every respect. I gained two MPH on the top end and five to seven MPH between 3500 an 4500 rpm. They dig in better out of the hole as well. You can actually feel the...
