I would not use those, they are also the short ones ( hight wise ) if anything u need the higher ones.

But that being said u can find good deals in the classifieds on used SM manifolds .

I agree, but if its a higher compression engine it would run for a while with low octane fuel at mild driving.

I think its a compression related detonation.
