ok, after some time a little update.

after losing a steering ram bolt at WOT (forgot to tighten it....:eek:) i can tell you that doing an instant 90 deg turn is not a problem for the boat. luckily...

i would also consider upgrading the drives with parts from IMCO.
they manufacture a lot of reinforced parts for the bravo drives, also they are very helpful and willing to talk...

the engine ran on the first try (why shouldn´t it, okay) and we had it run for a couple of minutes, just for the fun of it.

Spraying the deck; the green stuff is polyvinyl alcohol, which is sprayed on some 20 minutes after the gelcoat is mixed, it should produce a dry surface by preventing the waxes to rise to the surface...

12" extension box with 3" lift and external full hydraulic steering. Great stuff. Best company we have dealt with by far!! I´ll post a "review" of all the parts suppliers...

Deck was back on, sealed this time with polyurethane sealer (will last forever. You could glue the engine in with that stuff).

After we had the tank out, we reinforced all junctions of stringers, bottom, bulkhead, side walls with hevy weave glass.
