I used to have problems picking up small pieces of floating debris...like sticks of wood that would go up into the drive and get stuck then start to overheat the motor's...dealt with that for one...

Easiest way to do it is to fatten up the idle circuits. If that doesn't work then you can get into the air bleeds. :drink: Mine only surge about 200rpm with some pretty nasty solid rollers.

I have no problems getting on plane with twin 28 Daytona and 2" short drives with Bravo props...the Imco cavitation plates make a huge difference as do extension boxes.

IMO the "load" on the drive...
