Beautiful Scarab! It's cool you stayed mostly stock instead of trying to make into a 2015 Fountain, very classy! I have a 77 Scarab 300 that I am restoring, leaving a lot of the original look.

I got super lucky, my pads were within a couple thou of perfect so no machining was needed. I did have to contour them to fit the stands, and clearance for the pushrods. Just super dumb luck though!
