That is with drives tucked all in and Kplanes...

I run the Merc delrin/plastic hubs on my 415hp 502mpi's and have not had any issues. They are not rated for that much HP, but I've never had one go bad.

Not needed at all. The bearings rarely go bad unless the shaft seal goes bad.
If the seal goes bad, it will allow water to get to the bearings and dirty/greasy water will come out of the weep hole...

With a 525EFI, I would expect more like 70+ mph. My 30" prop guess is prob on the high side and most likely a 28" would be better.
For tabs, I'd prob go with 280 Kplanes or maybe a shorter version...

They are rated at 1000lbs tongue weight and 10k trailer weight. That eliminates them for most twin engine BBC boats.

It will carry the bow better, get on plane faster, be more responsive to trim and the prop will have more grip and less chance of blowing out.
You could always leave the engine as it sits and then...
