I know nothing about fiberglass or fixing stringers so take this with a grain of salt, but would think you would want to cut some kind of a notch pattern in the new and old stringer ends to lock them...

That's unfortunate, I would of thought they would of sold a lot more of the 28 AT's with twin outboards by now, I really like that setup.
