Re: best all terrian tires

I think the best looking tire is the Baja T/A (less agressive tread). Expensive and extreemely tough. The All Terrains are far more practical, but I just like the look of the Baja.

Pic of the...

Re: Midnight Express Forum

LOL, I think you're right about the fishing.

And the seating argument you made makes a lot of sense too. Get them in front and SITTING DOWN and allow yourself the freedom to drive the boat...

Re: 2008 Ford Super Duty Article

It's too bad they discontinued the Excursion. The 6.4 with the Ex would have been a good combo

Re: Midnight Express Forum

Thanks Tony,

Although I like the Midnights a lot, I really have to stick to my current project and get her done first. There are so many things you're doing to your boat that I'm going to need...

Re: Midnight Express Forum

Enforcer, thanks.

So your boat performs similar to the newer 39's. That's good. 12,500 was sort of what I expected it to weigh. But 1000 gal fuel capacity is unreal! I had no idea there was...

Re: Midnight Express Forum

Driven, can you verify this? Any idea when? If they don't release it at the '07 Miami show then I guess I'll be going with the 300xs opti instead. Been waiting long enough for this rumored 350 to...

Re: Midnight Express Forum

I'd like to see a Midnight Forum. They've got an interesting history and a nice mix of CC's and go-fasts with both I/O's and outboards. It should be interesting to see where the current owner...

Re: Earthquake in the Gulf

I've been wondering all day what that was!!

I sure felt it here in Naples. Was taking a cat nap in an upstairs bedrrom and the bed shook strongly. Recongnized it immediately as an earthquake...

Re: best 35' Center Console

Are they stepped hulls with a light layup? I mean, how are they getting a near 33 footer to top 70mph with twins? Pretty amazing....

my boat is nowhere near that effecient...

Re: CC Owners

Sterling and Deep impact are another two that have very nice fit and finish. Unsure of the status of Deep impact. Could be out of business. Both boats are top notch fishing machines and can be...

Re: CC Owners

The Everglades boat company has been showered with awards for their innovative ideas and for offering many options as standard on their boats. Customers like that, good bang for the buck. The 29...

Re: CC Owners

Jarret Bay's are all cold molded I believe. Impressive construction. Solid as a rock.

Don Smith boats are unbelievable. A lot of time went into his console and t-top designs, they're very...

Re: CC Owners

Yes, the Marlago's look very nice, but their max hull rating is only 500hp, which seems low to me for such a large boat. They're basically saying it's a twin engine boat, period. But for a boat...

Re: New Line of McManus Apaches 30'-50'

They all look sweet. I'm especially fond of the 38" Winnow. It's a very nice center console layout, plus it's in keeping with what an Apache CC should look like (IMO). And if they ever come out...

Re: Should I buy an Excurion now, or wait til '07

I agree, too many variables right now. I doubt the Expedition XL will be as beefed up as the EX. I definitely know it will be smaller. A diesel Burb would be nice, if they decide to make one.

Should I buy an Excurion now, or wait til '07

If '05 is going to be the last year for the Excursion with the 6.0, does it make sense to buy one now or should I wait until the '07 Expedition XL with the new 6.4 twin turbo? Does anyone know if...

Re: 400hp Verado arrival

I'm patiently waiting as well. I tried to squeeze some info out a sales rep at the Miami show. He wouldn't say a thing, except "be patient, it's coming." So who knows when that will be. I'm...
