Gas boats are listed at about .8-.9 mpg at cruise and diesel boats are listed at 1.6 mpg at cruise. I have a diesel 400ss and run a bit heavy and higher RPM than their tests. I usually see 1.35-1.45...

I had a 2002 382 that ran mid 90' on Bravos.....830hp per side (best ever of 98).

Later with 630hp per side it would run low-mid 80's any day.

I thng rak hit it. The current fastech design came in 1997 (simply a stepped hull of the 1994 design). They have changed NOTHING! With so many other builders putting together really good boats too...
