Ive done it with no issue. Pump mounted low and close to the tank. Need to remove the anti-siphon check valve at tank pickup.

On my 350 vortec the 750 edelbrock was a mph faster than the 600. I would put a double pump quickfuel 650 on it they are nice.

Yes, buddy has done it. Engines moved back closer to 18 inches, i believe prop shafts came up 2 inches. Boat goes great.

Are you trimming it up good at wide open? I had a 272 with 330s and spun 25 mirages to 4400 and 64 to 65 mph. With mags you should be spinning them faster than that.

Yes the gauge requires a 90 to 0 ohm sender. You have to remove the rear seat back and drill a hole with a hole saw directy above the sender to slide it up and out

The cam was around 214/224 @.44 valve lift. Much smaller than the lt4 hot cam. I would look at it like any other 350...

If you are using stock cast iron exaust i would build it as a stock rebuild. Most larger cams are gonna require better exhaust to avoid reversion issues.

In later years formula revised the dry weight to 8k. Figure 2k in fuel, water, gear etc. 2k for steel or 1500 for aluminum trailer. 11500 on an aluminum trailer is a pretty good estimate.

5500 is over turning a 454 mag. I think the recomended range is 4600 to 5000 but they are done on the dyno at 4800. So your over turning it 600 rpm.
