Somehow I have a feeling the #6 boat that you show in the Pictures are of the #5 boat that I built, two reasons. the scoops on the back deck, were my trademarks, and also the side air intakes are cut at more of an angle than most, I think if you can find more pix. of #5 you will see what I am talking about. compared to the others.

Richie,here the #5,but the same scoops were on the Natural Light like the angle of the side air intakes....the #9 and your #5 compete in the same races in 1978.

Here the only "good" image of the Natural Light that I have(from Searace).
The vertical scopes seems like those of Benny.

I forgot this pic and I rembered of it after have switched off my computer last night.

Marco: I will be meeting with Errol Lanier tommorrow, and will find out for sure what he knows about the 38`s. he ran the streaker`s swap shop`s and the Natural light boats, also he was the last to run the Benny #5 boat that I built, maybe he will know where it ended up. whatever he says will be not be disputed. 7XCHAMP

Richie,I'm waiting the Lanier's word with interest and respect.
Who was there those days as protagonist like you or Errol knows the facts.
I can have only opinions.

Waiting,here Lanier at the Streaker's time in 1976 with Henn and Sammy James after the Bacardi Trophy victory,then in Natural Light with Bernie Little between Henn and Lanier in 1978 and then at last the Aoki's staff and toys during the Guy Lombardo race in september 1978.

P.S. Richie,the last pic was signed by Lanier when I met you and Errol at Viareggio some day before the race at Venice in 1979. I have your sign on a white page too.
