He used to build his Rabco Boats, right by where they built my fishboat in 1988.

If you want to see Randy in action ck out the 1978 Swift Classic video on OSO. He destroyed the field in his Rabco.

Great Guy R.I.P.

Parker... Your Dad was one of the good guys.

All my best prayers and wishes to Linda, Caroline and Parker. Randy was a huge part of many peoples lives along with the boating community at large.

From him being the first man to barefoot ski backwards in 61' to his innovations and competitiveness in racing both calm water and offshore he will certainly be remembered as one of the greats of our time.

Part Don Aronow, part Evil Knievel, Randy was like nobody you've ever met. A Florida icon.

My deepest condolences to the family, especially Parker. Your dad and I raced many times and he was always one of the toughest, especially in big water.

From his purple wig to the outlandish metalflake boats, he was one of a kind. Ditto to Lucky Strike's comment, he was one of the good guys.

May he rest in peace.
