Getting hit by a boat doing 80, and only getting a cut to the head?

Never heard of it either.

We need more details. If the officer was quoted in the article,I guess we must assume it did happen,but the almost 80 mph,only a few cuts begs for more info. Aren't accidents public record? Maybe some of you internet gurus can track this down with a diligent search. I tried,but did not get anywhere.

Called a couple of boat dealers on the lake,they didn't know any thing about it. If a 39' speedboat hit a jet ski on my lake, I would know all about it. Very strange. Not saying it did not happen,just wondering about the whole story.

We boat on allatonna every weekend, I saw the article in the Cartersville paper. I was out that weekend and did not see or hear about it. Also no news other newspaper articles, and no one I have talked to knows about it???!!!!

Tell you the truth guys, from up here on the Great Lakes its all the same; Georgia, Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee....
