In the night, somewhere in Ohio, Blue Nutz catches up with Black. When we started, the Krazy Kubans were 100 miles back. Now they are ahead of us. If that's an omen for St. Clair, then we don't want it.

The Nutz have landed! The parking lot of the St. Clair Shopping Plaza has been converted to the Dry Pits for the race.
Conspiratortionists, take note: Blue Nutz, a.k.a. Wild Card #4, is being pulled by a Typhoon vehicle!

Larry is a rock star, and he's here. He drove with the boyz.

And no, no motor home driving for me, none whatsoever. Trophy Butch advanced to star driver status, though. I guess, my driving makes him shine.

Registration took place at the local bowling alley. The Grattons and Jim Richardson grabbed the opportunity to bust some balls.

During the drivers meeting, your correspondent was found with a bleeping cellphone. As it is customary at OSS, the offender had to stand in the corner throughout the meeting.

During inspection, certain teams have their engine computer pulled and checked for infractions. Steve Lippenkott of Mercury tested Team Typhoon's computer, and it checked out ok.
