The chamber in a bravo by the upper gear set does it play a role in cooling the drive and has any one not run water through the drive Im going to a through hull pickup and wont be useing the pickup in the drive anymore .or could you use both?

I have a hull pick up on my boat for the engine. The water that enters the drive pick up runs into another hose and dumps out the side of the boat next to the bilge pump dump. It was like that when I got it. If I were to do it myself, I would mount a dump for the water so it dumped out right on top of the drive and worked as a drive shower.
Since the water was just flowing through the case, I had the water jacket on the upper case drilled and tapped. I'm running braided line to my drive shower from there.

Not a bad idea does the water jacket provide cooling for the drive is the big question ?/ Griff got a big Imco drive cool ..

Interior shop says end of next week I excited hope to have picts soon mecanix are all done had prop reworked . All ready to go fast hopefuly

No interior yet Im impatiently waiting .Yes motor is done, ready to run but have to use lawn chairs ,so im waiting ..Trust me Im ready to post pictures
