Just spoke with Berns29scarab and the Coast Guard has pushed the race back to 1:00PM with the hope of a window to pull the race off this afternoon. The weather here in Jersey bites the big one and has all weekend. I know everyone will race as long as the CG approves. As of last night the water laid down a bit from the afternoon prior. Prolly the calmest I have ever seen the ocean in Pt Pleasant. Hopefully the race gods will not make us Jersey natives look like liars with the conditions as it is usually rough in Point Pleasant. Time has shoen PP to be one of the roughest courses to run and I know from experiance myself. All were ready to race as of last night despite the 2+ inches of rain that fell last night and poor visibility. Keep your fingers crossed they can get the race off. I will be heading to Jenks at 12pm to see the action or get soaked again like lastnight,
