Question Boat Wax, 1 coat per year???

I am interested in your opinions and experiences.

1. How often do you wax your boat?
2. How often do you wash it off?
3. Is it oxidized or turned yellow?
4. Is it kept under cover or in the sun?

Would you be interested in a product that brightens and/or brings back your graphics, clearcoat or gelcoat even if your boat is brand new or not? Last 6 months for boats kept in the sun 24/7 and lasts for 1 year on boats that get constant use, but are stored under cover? Applies easily, allows you to just wipe spider poop off with a towel? Contains no CARNAUBA so it won't turn your boat yellow? Has been hand tested personally on hundreds of boats. Works on all fiberglass, all plastics, all metals and leaves a "slick", High Gloss finish that lasts?

His is a good product. I will not bash or talk negative about others but his is a completely different formula that contains Carnuba and only lasts a couple of months. It's taken me years to perfect mine and too many nights bugging my chemist. We just did a 20 year old Summerset houseboat that has spent it's whole life at a marina that dosen't have covered slips. When we got finished Friday the boat looked like brand new. Lots of elbow grease!!! I'm kind of on the front end of marketing but I know excellent results will come. Thanks for responding.

How good is it on taking water marks off the hull, for some reason my boat has a couple spots on the hull that are light light brown.

Jim, The word I hate, but you need it, Petroleum. The best way I have found to remove small marks/spots off the hull is a petroleum based product like MG's Flagship(it says wax but it's more of a stripper). You need something almost considered as a stripper to remove imperfections that are not through the Gel coat. Use a non-scratch pad and some elbow grease to remove the marks and then apply my product. My wax will remove trash such as spider poop, bird droppings and grime. Once it's on it's kind of like having a shield, it will protect against fading, those minor scuffing incidents at the dock, water lines and the occasional mishap like spiders. You'll be able to keep your luster by just wiping it off with a damp(water)terry cloth towel.

Can you apply it to a fully painted/ cleared boat, or has it been formulated for fiberglass/gel coat?

Craig, I had to go do some research before getting back to your reply. No, Boatshield and I definitely have different formulas. I have read feedback on them and most of it seems to be positive. I have not tried any of their products so I have no idea personally how they work but I do have a day to day, "hands on", experience of what mine does. Thanks....Donnie
