will they work with the silent choice?

Lightning does offer a 496 silent choice style system. Although due to the extended length of the runners, a shorter diverter is required. That is why Lightning's silent choice system comes complete with its own unique style diverter which is shorter than your factory system.

Lightning says about a 40 hp gain on the 496 and 50-60 hp gain on the 496HO. Unfortunately I do not have any dyno sheets to share with you guys at this time.

Any HP #'s for this header system yet ???? how many boats have these been installed on ??, any before and after #'s ?? whats the material, warranty, expected life span.. thanks Chris.

Sorry to say no legit dyno numbers yet. There have been some independent tests done but they have been more like a 2+2=5 type of deal. I have heard claims as high as 60 horsepower but I don't believe it. I think realistic numbers is more in the 40 to 50 range depending on fuel pressure tuning. We have sold dozens of systems with all ecstatic results from every customer. The warranty is two years. I can say that we have sold these systems on other than the 496 applications for years, people that drain there headers appropriately I have witnessed life spans in the 8 to 10 years range in fresh water applications. The fresh water system has a stainless steel inner tube with a mild steel outer tube.
