Hey guys here's a helpful DIY for anyone who want to take off there original formula gauge bezels and do what they so please.Mine are going to be smoothed and and painted candy red.More pics of that next Sunday...So here we go.

Tool:
1 Fillips Screw Driver Medium Size.
1 Deep Well 9/32nds Socket and Ratchet
1 Flat Head Screw Driver
1 Small Crescent Wrench

This is your basic 80's Early 90's Dash Layout.


Step 1
Start by using the philips screw driver to remove the 8 screws holding the panel to the dash.Circled Here


Step 2
Once you have removed the 8 screws,use the flat head to pry the panel away from the dash.Mine just came right off so I did not have to pry,but incase it doesn't pry gently.Should look something like this...


Step 3
Once you have the panel out,gentle pull it a little so you can lay it flat on the front of your dash.Then you need to use your socket and ratchet to loosen the 2 nuts on the back of the gauges.If you can't get the socket on the nuts use the cresent wrench to loosen them up.

Step 4
When you have loosend the nuts( do not remove),hold the front bezel with one hand while you turn the back of the gauge clockwise a quarter turn.Then pull the bezel striaght off.That's it,repeat step 3&4 for each gauge.Reverse step 4 when you put them back on.
