Default Vermont to Florida with the Cig

Going to the Miami Boat show Poker Run from Vermont.

Since pulling the rig is a monumental bore I decided with the help of technology (laptop wired to the internet from the truck) to keep a journal of the trip. It's a little narcissistic but I have nothing else to do and it might be fun.

Ok we're off... leaving in nice 40* weather just in time before it falls back down to 18* tonight. Left at 10 AM this morning from Burlington and are currently in NY State on 88 about 40 miles South West of Albany.

2006 GMC Dually Duramax is averaging 8.8 mpg pulling the Tiger about 230 miles into the trip. We have 140 Gallons of Diesel on board and are road tripping serious.

I’ll try to post as often as possible with as many pictures as I can jam you up with.

Any comments or requests are welcome!!!!

G.L.

Have Fun! Beware the roadside, truck-stop strip joints in GA.

One downside of the chevy's is a very small gas tank. My friend brings fuel with him to on road trips, esp. while pulling a big load at 8.8mpg.

Thats just my guess.
