Can anyone help me out. I believe this was taken at the Tan Tara gas dock on LOTO during shootout weekend. I was browsing my old harddrive for another boat I had seen out there and came across this one. Id like to find the owner and see if he has anymore pics of the paintjob, its very similar to what id like to do to mine one day..

Anyone recognize it?

don't know anything about the boat or owner, but it looks like an early 90's 38 Scarab with the windshield. Daum good look'n boat!

I saw it docked at Shady Gators at the OSS races last year. Don't know anything about it though. I'd also say its a mid 90's 38 Scarab with a windshield instead of a fairing.

it IS a good lookin boat..i love seein older boats that have been completely updated and painted.

It does look like one of the custom deck ScarabIII's that Wellcraft built back in the day. one of those Fitipaldi (sp) boats or somthing. good lookin boat and the swim platform looks just like the one on my ScarabIII

If you could post a picture where I could see it, I might be able to help. I have always loved scarabs and noticed them quite a bit when I was out there. I might be able to tell you where it stays.

I have seen the boat before, so I am thinking its a local boat. It looks like a vincent custom paint boat. I would try them and see if he painted it. Do you remember if it says Texas Tornado on the back?
