Default Anyone have experience buying new cockpit/interior from Fouintain?

Now that I've committed to the new engines for the '84 10-Meter....I'd like to update cosmetics:

1) Firstly, can anyone rercommend a top quality upholstery shop near Westchester County, NY and how much $$ should I budget for a first class job?

2) May as well update the dashboard as well. Any suggestions on pricing and a shop to install new Gaffrig Monster gauges and throttles?

3) Finally, a complete paint job...any recommenations for a relatively conservative job ( I do like the photo's of the '04 42 ICBM that isposted here) ?

Thanks for all your help.

I assume you will be finished with your mods for the upcoming season, if so, you may want to check out the thread below, be nice to have you join us. It's a reasonable tow or a long trip from Westchester! Hope to see you if possible.

I talked to fountain on my old 29 ,they wanted 10k for the interior . I replaced the gauges for around 1k and as for throttles and white dash I would bet another thousand. FUN AINT IT.

Mshea...

You say you have invested in new engines. I make the assumption they are Merc's of some type and if new most likely are "Smartcraft" compatable. Why not lose all your gauges, with the exception of water pressure, have a new powdercoat dash plate made, mount the Smartcraft module (1K or less) and your GPS side by side for a super clean 21st century dash??? I have an 04 29 Fever and I kick myself for not working a deal with the factory for just such a setup. Just a thought.

blownincome1,
Nisonger has some good prices on dash panels. They use Team Marine panels.

If you need gages I'd contact Wally from the board.
Dan

BTW, I still have the faded out wheel on the boat. I haven't found a good replacement that will except the CRT.
