Me too! My wife wants the shaggy carpet down and something like an auto headliner up.Hurry up guys chime in she is driving me crazy.I am lucky though she lets me spend the money so the boat looks nice. That is her main concern, how it looks, she says it is up to me to make it run good.

I talked to the dealer about replacing the head liner in my boat ( I had an umbrella bouncing around in there and it scuffed it up.. They told me the hardest part is to remove the old material,, it need to be totally scraped off and glue removed... They also told me they use a 3M adhesive to bond the new headliner in.. They also wanted 100.00 per hour labor to replace it,, needless to say I will be replacing it myself.. Will start in one small corner and see how it goes..

77 spray adhesive by 3M would be my choice.

I have a freind that replaced his in a 33 Donzi Crossbow. Looked great. I think it was some kind of lightly padded vinyl, and I think he glue in sleepers, then upholstered buttons to hold the liner to the sleepers. I'll check and post what I find.

I went to a place today and did some snooping around, the glue they use is 3m part number 08046 "TOP&TRIM ADHESIVE" the guy that worked there said it sticks the best.

Here's another link to his entire redo of the boat. This guy is meticulous.
