Is the rear pin for Bravo trim cylinders lagrer than an Alpha?
When you pull up by hand on the drive there is about 1/2-1" of play because the pin is too small in diameter. This is the horizontal pin that connectds the two trim cylinders. What is happening is the pin is too large for the hole through the drive housing.
Someone thought maybe at some point in time the pin may have been replaced the pin from an Alpha instead of a Bravo and they are different diameters.
Anyone know if this is true? Trying to figure out how to remove the play.

Has your drive been replaced?
Newer Bravos use a plastic 1/2 hole wedge that also goes in that hole to postion the shaft either to the front or to the back of the oblonged slot/hole depending if the drive is to be used on a cruiser or a non- cruiser application.

I have an extra of the pin your talking about. The pin, bushings, nuts, and washers will run you about $100.00 new. I know, I missed placed mine when i removed the drive and had to order another set up. Once I installed the new one. guess what? I found where I put the old one. You know right where I would not loose it.

If I recall correctly for B3 the wedge goes in front of the pin, for B1 and 2 it goes behind.
I am not sure about the difference between alpha and bravo pin size-wise but the entire pin kit including pin, 4x bushings, 4x washers and nuts can be found for ~$60 brand new.
